Diane A. Dvorak

June 1, 1959 - May 11, 2022

Diane A. Dvorak, 62, of Geneva, Ohio, left her earthly abode for a more heavenly stay with The Lord, Jesus Christ on May 11, 2022. Born June 1, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio, Diane was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Agnes B. Dvorak. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis R. Dvorak and niece, Dana M. Slusarczyk. Family left to cherish her memory include her beloved sister, Cheryl J. and brother, Robert M. Dvorak (Bob) of Geneva; niece, Deadra A. Williams of Beckley, WV and nephew, Justin T. Dvorak of Cleveland; great nephews, Nicholas A. Dvorak of Beckley and John A. (Alison) Williams of Morgantown, WV; great nieces, Violette Johnson, Katie Jo, and Grace; great-great nephew, Nicholas P. Dvorak and great great nieces, Lucinda N. Dvorak and Arabella Johnson; and, first cousins, Gary (Donna) Platek, Alan (Mary) Platek, and Lynn Tezak. Diane had a plethora of dear friends and acquaintances and will be missed by so many. Her rescue kitty, Brie (Oreo), was her best buddy of recent, and is wandering about looking for her mommy. Diane attended Our Lady of Peace and South High School in Cleveland and being the free spirit that she was, ventured to the West Coast. Between L.A. and San Francisco, she honed her dental skills as a tech, developed a love for The Giants, and enjoyed the many wineries in the area. Upon returning to her hometown, she and her brother Bob established Cedar Creek Floral in Cleveland and then The Inside Corner in Kirtland and Geneva. Their floral arrangements brought smiles to all who received them. Diane embraced life to the fullest and found joy and peace in nature and animals. Her greatest loves in life were family, music, and her writings. She was honest, intuitive, a great friend with a witty sense of humor. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mario Talarico and Mary Lou and Tony Novak, who have been immeasurably helpful during this time. Also, the staff of Geneva Hospital and Geneva Rite Aid Pharmacy went above and beyond to accommodate Diane's needs. As per Diane's request, there will be no memorial service. Final arrangements were made by Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. Condolences can be expressed at www.lakeeriecrematory.com or on her Face Book page.
