Janet Lee Zepeda (Née: Wargelin), 29 which she held on to for a few years. Passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly at home on Monday July 19th, 2021. She was born on June 4th, 1952 in Madison, Ohio to the late Elmer Leo Wargelin and Gloria Louise Wargelin (née: Volante). Jan graduated from Madison High School and attended Texas Southmost College while living in Brownsville, Texas, where she was studying for a Psychology degree. Jan wanted to help people with Intellectual disability. She was employed at a workshop for people with that disability in Texas. She later returned to Ohio and was employed at a residence for women with Intellectual disabilities. Jan eventually found a way to help people for a brighter future that lies ahead. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 30th, 1990 along with her husband and sons Sean and Scott. She retired from secular employment and took up a new career as a full time minister being able to preach and teach about the Good News. Jan and David were both retired and enjoyed their home life. Jan loved animals especially dogs and horses, which they have had over the years. They recently rescued two dogs Scout and Phoebe which made her so happy. She enjoyed traveling the states and was able to travel abroad to Ireland, England, Finland, Latvia and Bolivia. Her other love was reading! Jan is survived by her husband of 39 years. Sons, Sean (Jacqueline) Zepeda, Scott (Debbie) Zepeda and David L. Zepeda Jr. of Brownsville, Texas. Grandchildren Justin, Alissa, Jadeyn and Brookelyn. Sisters Sharon Dwyer of Perry, Diane (Wayne) George of Geneva and Brother John (Stephanie) Wargelin of Chesterland. As well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. Preceding her in death was her oldest sister Gloria Jeanne Wargelin. A Memorial service will be held online via Zoom and KHconference on Roku, Saturday August 7th 2021 at 4 P.M.
