Lou Ann Hamilton (nee Pinkerton), passed away suddenly on June 18, 2021, while visiting her family Emma and Eric Otstot and nephew Ben Otstot and family in Salem, Oregon at the age of 53. She was born November 10, 1967 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. She was the youngest child of the late Carl Everette Pinkerton and Mary Lou Callihan Pinkerton. Lou Ann left behind the joy of her life, her daughter Meghan Emily Hamilton of Painesville and 4 siblings Neal Pinkerton (Sandy) of Vincent, Ohio, Carol Schaad (Mike) of Elyria, Ohio, Emma Otstot (Eric) of Salem, Oregon, and Joe Pinkerton (Dina) of Little Hocking, Ohio along with many special friends, nieces, and nephews. Lou Ann graduated from Marietta College in 1990 with a degree in International Business. She spoke fluent Spanish and was an Honor student where she met the love of her life Jonathan D. Hamilton who passed away in 2010. She was a devoted mother spending countless hours cheering her daughter in karate tournaments around the country and teaching her strong values and ethics of life. She loved spending time with her friends, family, and companion Johnny Pasqualone. She was looking forward to walking her daughter down the aisle in the upcoming wedding to Scott Mundis whom she adored. She enjoyed traveling all over the world beginning at the age of 13 to visit her brother Joe in Spain. She loved life and made every moment count while courageously beating cancer at the age of 25. Lou Ann worked for Euclid Chemical in Cleveland, Ohio for 28 years where she left many friends and will be missed. She was a member of Painesville United Methodist Church and held strong to her faith in God witnessing forgiveness towards others. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Nicholas Otstot. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 25th from 5pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Rd., Geneva, OH.
