Allen A Gingerich, 81, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 15, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, OH, on October 18, 1941 to the late Abraham S and Amanda (Schmucker) Gingerich. Allen married his best friend and love of his life, Amanda Miller, on November 19, 1963.

In addition to owning the Olde Towne Grille in Middlefield for over 40 years, Allen enjoyed boating, nature, motorcycle riding and, most of all, his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed by Amanda, his wife of 59 years; children Sally Gingerich and Ray (Kathy) Gingerich; grandchildren Rachel, Brooke, Chris and Jordan, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, August 12, 2023, at the Heritage Market Place Event Center, 15848 Nauvoo Rd, Middlefield, OH.
