Alvira Mae Caldwell (Al), 82, 0f Conneaut, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 9, 1939 in Springboro, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Theodore S. and Eva May (Hadsell) Lionhart and grew up on her grandparents' farm. On August 7, 1970 she married William Caldwell in West Springfield, Pennsylvania. Alvira later obtained her GED and attended A-Tech to become a Business Office Specialist and went on to work as a Secretary at the Conneaut Police Department and the Conneaut Human Resource Center.
Alvira loved spending time with her family and in her spare time she loved to crochet, read, and play cards.
Survivors include her husband, William I. Caldwell of Conneaut, Ohio; children: Virginia Thomas of Conneaut, Ohio and Delinda Kreider of Greeneville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Ariane Palshook, Misty Dawn Stout, Bennjerman Geiger, Lindsy Crawford, Sebatian Geiger, Natasha Cummings, Tellus Andrews, and Jerimiah Wiles; great-grandchildren: Cole I. Palshook, Lance C. Kessler, Kaytlin D. Stout, HaileyChristia M. Stout, Bennjerman W. Geiger, Chris Wiles, Logan Wiles, Jake Wiles, Khale Crawford, Crystal Crawford, Karma Cummings, Kindred Cummings, Savanah Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Tellus Andrews Jr., and Haley Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her children: Carolyn Wiles, Cleon Kreider, Jr. and David Kreider; grandchildren: Heath Allen Meaney, and Jason I. Brewer; parents, Theodore S. and Eva May (Hadsell) Lionhart; grandparents, Abert L. and Minnie Alvira (Terrill) Hadsell.
A Celebration of Life was held on October 26, 2021.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
