Angie (Angela) Shrewsbury, 76, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born October 25, 1947, in Geneva, Ohio. The oldest child of Chester and Ethel (Bodisch) Tereba. She died peacefully in her sleep at home under the gentle care of Hospice of the Western Reserve, surrounded by her family and with the support and help from a very young, loving neighbor and friend, Amanda. She truly put her heart into getting Angie and her family through this difficult time.
Angie is survived by her husband, Jimmy Shrewsbury; her sons, Raymond and Michael Utter; her daughter, Margaret Bryan (Utter); 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Larry Tereba, Roy (Sharon) Tereba; her sisters, Teresa (Bob) Williams, and Veronica (Brian) Schlee.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She lived through many difficult times in her life, but she had a strong faith in God, believing He was always guiding her through them, and that she would have a bright hope for the future. Angie was easy to get to know and love. One of the sweetest souls you could meet. She lived in many states and always acquired lifelong friends. She would volunteer in various activities throughout her life, always giving to and supporting charities and trying to be the best neighbor, leaving loving impressions on all whom she met.
She enjoyed different crafts, decorating, cooking, sewing, reading, and visiting with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed seasonal decorating as it was a happy expression she could share with others, expressing her love of life.
She will be remembered and missed by all who had the opportunity to come across her path in life.
At her request, there will be no services.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
