Anna Marie Szappanos, 65, of Eastlake, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 29, 1960, to parents Stephen and Veronica Parey. On October 27, 1979, she married William Szappanos at St. Elizabeth Hungarian Church and together they have shared more than 45 years of love and memories.
Anna worked as an office manager for Qua Buick, Steve Barry Buick and Bishop Park Estates. She was a Parishioner of the Catholic Church and in her free time enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William Szappanos; children, William Szappanos, Jr. and Lisa Szappanos; grandchildren, Sage Szappanos and Jackson Szappanos; siblings, Veronica Burkhalter, Stevie Parey, Joey (Maryann) Parey and Betsy (Gene) Andrews. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Veronica Parey; siblings, John (Sharon) Parey and Kati Parey; fur babies, Bob and Captain Jack Sparrow.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12 noon till ?? at the home of John and Jacklyn, 18525 Amber Trails, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023. Casual attire please!
