Arlene Myrtis Miller, "Lennie" of Euclid, passed away on July 12, 2025. She was born on November 18, 1930, in South Kingstown, RI to parents Joseph H. Reels and Dorothy B. (Potter) Reels. On April 25, 1950, she married the love of her life, Luther Charles Miller, in South Kingston, RI. Arlene worked at the Ladd School University Fields Department for the state of Rhode Island. She was a member of the USBC and a member of Elks Lodge.
Arlene is survived by her children, Drusilla L. Anderson, Gail Bulgin and William H. Miller; her grandchildren, Christina (Jeff) Brown, David Anderson, Kelly (Tony) Anderson, and Lanita Hazard; great-grandchildren, Breonna Brown, Charles Shaw IV, Christopher Shaw, Destinee Brown, Jordan Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Dakotah Anderson, Savannah Anderson, Brianna Richardson, Mariah Richardson, Arron Anderson, Maya Anderson, and Jasmine Hazard; great-great grandchildren, Noah Brown, Amaya Hazard-Davis, Rayshon Davis Jr, Mason Matthews.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Charles Miller; parents, Joseph H. Reels and Dorothy (Potter) Reels; grandparents Lester and Sarah Reels; grandchild, Dominic Anderson; siblings, Joseph Reels, William "Winkie" Reels and Georgie Potter.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd, Wickliffe, Ohio 44092. A reception will follow on Saturday at 251 E. 272nd Street, Euclid, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Cleveland Food Bank, 15500 S. Waterloo Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44110. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cleveland Clinic ICU staff and Hospice of the Western Reserve for all of their wonderful care.
