Arnold Glenn Diedrichs, age 76, passed away at Western Reserve Hospice House, Cleveland, Ohio, on August 17, 2024, after having colon cancer and other complications.

He was born September 7, 1947, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Mary Ellen and Glenn Diedrichs. He was a graduate of Ashtabula High School.

Arnold worked in car sales in Geneva, Ohio and served on the Geneva Police Force. He then moved with his wife Shirley to Melbourne, Florida where they enjoyed 40 years of marriage. After Shirley's passing in 2022, he moved back to Geneva.

Arnold enjoyed camping, kayaking, and was an avid reader. His photography won many awards at local shows. He also belonged to several Gun Clubs and enjoyed going to the rifle ranges. Arnold was a friend to all wildlife and spent leisure times on a park bench feeding peanuts to the chipmunks and squirrels. Everyone who knew Arnold enjoyed his kind, gentle heart and sense of humor.

Arnold is survived by his sister Charleen (Bob) Steele of Ashtabula; sons Charles Janco of Oregon, Douglas Janco of California, Robert (Connie) Mimms of Eastlake, and daughter Kelly Oliver of Willoughby. He has 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
