Arthur "Art" John Kifer, 63, of Geneva, Ohio passed away at his family home on Thursday, May 11, 2023. He was born September 14, 1959 in Geneva, Ohio to Arthur and Edwina (Clutter) Kifer. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1978 and on June 21, 1978 joined the US Navy where he served until his honorable discharge in 1982.
Art was married to Carrol (Bliss) Kifer for 35 years and in his spare time enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Monsters, and playing golf, chess, and pool.
Art is survived by his children, Elizabeth Sullivan and James Kifer; mother, Edwina Kifer; siblings, Charles Kifer, Tina Kifer, Mary Cleversy, and James Kifer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrol (Bliss) Kifer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 3-5pm at Park Street Christian Church, 97 Park Street, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
