In Loving Memory of Arthur V. Blase 

Arthur V. Blase was born April 25, 1946, to the late Gilbert and Bertha (Ceramba) Blase. He is survived by his brother Douglas W. Blase, and cousin Betsy Jo (Bates) Moore, a special friend and caregiver for 15 years Jeffrey Walker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers Gilbert E. Blase, Richard G. Blase, and sister Patricia R. (Blase) Matsko, and many cousins.Arthur graduated from St. Joseph High School, Euclid, Ohio, and received his degree from Cleveland State University. He taught for a number of years in Guam. He made a great impact on his middle school students in Guam receiving a grant from Public Health, Senior Citizens Division, for an Oral History Project.Then returned to teach in the Cleveland area. Where he taught in the Cleveland Public School System at John F Kennedy High School. Arthur V Blase, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Arthur was a devoted Catholic. He also loved his Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Browns. He also had a love for lasagna, stuffed peppers and chocolate ice cream and his favorite restaurant was the Olive Garden. No service will be held. Contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
