Barbara Alayne Loyer

Barbara Alayne Loyer, 82, of Westlake, Ohio, passed away on August 2, 2026.

Born on April 15, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara was the daughter of Margaret Goski and Donn Loyer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Loyer, who passed away in November 2014.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Margaret "Margie" Loyer of North Olmsted, Ohio. She was also a devoted and cherished aunt to Marc Loyer of Los Fresnos, Texas, and Michelle Stanton (Thomas) of Harlingen, Texas. Her kindness, quiet strength, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Huntington Woods Nursing Facility in Westlake and to Bella Care Hospice for the care and kindness shown to Barbara during her final days.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland, Ohio.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
