Beatrice Lucille Lopez, age 88, passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 27, 2024, following a long and beautiful life. She was born on September 14, 1936, the daughter of Pearl and Edward Putt. She was a life-long resident of Geneva, Ohio and a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Saybrook, Ohio. Bea's door was always open for a bite to eat or for a bandage or two. She was a wonderful caretaker, enjoyed the birds in springtime and cooked-up a tasty pot of rice and beans – a meal her family and friends always looked forward to…she was a remarkable wife, mother, grandparent, sister, aunt…and friend.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Pearl Putt, her sister Earnestine (Tiny) Putt, granddaughter Melissa Leonard, grandson Mario Pacheco and great-granddaughter Lillian Sutherland. Survivors include her husband William Lopez, her brother Carl and Ruth Putt, her sons; Randy and Joni Jones, George (Ed) and Stephanie Jones, William Lopez Jr, her daughters; Colleen Armstrong and Bob Wagmiller, Mary and Jose (Hugo) Reyes, Gloria and Jeff Pratt, all 6 who had a very special spot in her heart – an unending love. She also left behind many cherished memories with her 15 grandchildren; Melinda Leaver, Marlana Leonard, Eric and Pete Jones, Dale and Stephen (Ty) Ross, Vicente (Vinny) Pacheco, Jose Jr. (Hugo) and Ricardo (Ricky) Reyes, Keaton, Logan, Nevaeh, Seth, Riley Pratt and Abigail Swint; and 15 great-grandchildren who were very dear to her.

Services will be held at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio, on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Pastor Larry Emery will preside over services. Graveside services will follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva, Ohio. If you wish to donate in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Geneva Food Pantry.

A Celebration of Life for Bea will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), Geneva, Ohio on Friday, November 1, 2024 immediately following graveside services.
