Betty Jean Valardo, 92, of Madison, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023.
She was born May 15, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa the daughter of Ralph and Bertha Nelson and married Nicola Valardo who preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by her grandchildren, Tony Valardo, Kristina Terrasi (Derek Brown), and Kelley Heckman (Timothy); great-grandchildren, Jason, Russel, Brayden, Brandon, and Miles; sister, Darlene Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bertha Nelson; husband, Nicola Valardo; sons, Nick Valardo and Anthony Valardo; and her beloved furry companion, Hannah.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
