Beverly Ann Berrier, 92, of Jefferson, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, August 28, 2026 of natural causes.
She was born on August 13, 1934, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late Walter G. and Hazel M. (Smith) Stoll. On January 22, 1955, she married Gerald S. Berrier in Jefferson United Methodist Church and together they shared many years of love and memories until his passing.
Beverly had a long career as a nurse serving the local community. In her early days, she worked for Dr. H.C. Franley and the Ashtabula General Hospital. She then began working as a nurse in the Jefferson School System and enjoyed 20 years of dedicated service before retiring. After retirement, she enjoyed wintering in Bradenton, Florida for many years. In addition to nursing, she worked as an EMT for the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department and was a past member and Past President of the Firejets. When not working, Beverly enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, painting, and making crafts. She was also very active in local organizations including the Jefferson PTA, an active member of the Albino Rebekah Lodge #773 for over 50 years where she was Past Noble Grands of the Rebekah Lodge (PNG), and was a very active member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church where she was Past President of the United Methodist Women, was a member of the Methodist Choir, and served on the Board of Trustees.
She is survived by her children, Robin R. (Michael) Czayka of Jefferson, Ohio, Randall R. Berrier (Terri Wheeler) of Trumbull Township, Ohio, and Richard R. Berrier of Jefferson, Ohio; grandchildren, David (Kim) Czayka, Alison Balsiger, Alex (Natalie) Czayka, Joshua (Cassie Huffman) Berrier, and Mitchell Berrier; great grandchildren, Macyn, Bryn, Bodey, Dominic, Nina, William, Cooper, Raelyn, and Maverick.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald S. Berrier and parents, Walter G. and Hazel M. (Smith) Stoll.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Jefferson United Methodist Church, 125 East Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio 44047 conducted by Pastor Jeremy Roseberry. Calling Hours will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service. A private family burial will take place immediately after the service in Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson followed by a memorial luncheon at the church hall.
In place of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Jefferson United Methodist Memorial Fund, 125 East Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio 44047. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
