Beverly A. Ready, age 92, of Mentor-on-the-Lake, passed away Thursday, October 28th, 2021, at ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Willoughby. Beverly was born November 27th, 1928, in Cleveland, OH. to parents; Anthony and Ann Campbell. She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area, and in her younger years she worked as a bar owner. Beverly was always sociable and outgoing, she loved music, dancing and spending time with her family, friends, and her puppies! Beverly attended Notre Dame High School and was a graduate of the class of 1946. Shortly after, she married Gerald Ready in Cleveland, OH. Later in life, Beverly worked as a home healthcare provider for many years and enjoyed helping others. Beverly was Catholic and had a strong sense of faith. In her free time, she really enjoyed collecting John F. Kennedy memorabilia. Beverly is survived by her loving children; John (Debbie) Ready, Sharon (Michael) Nadzan, and Rob Ready, her grandchildren; Johnny Ready, Jeff Ready, Amy Nadzan, Michael Nadzan, Christopher (Bethany) Nadzan, Erin Watson, Seth (Ashley) Zachar, Amber (Billy) Logan, Alyssa (Bob) Curtis, Stephanie (Nathan) Hoffmann, Sarah Ready, and many beloved great-grandchildren. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Anthony & Ann Campbell, her loving husband Gerald Ready in 1993, her son; Jerry Ready in 1981, her daughter; Suzy Wolfe in 2021, her son-in-law; Phil Wolfe in 2021, and her beloved granddaughter Heather Ready. The family will honor and remember Beverly's beautiful life with a private gathering in the future.
