Billy Ray Hosier, Jr., 31, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in a motorcycle accident.
He was born December 16, 1990 in Conneaut to Janeen (Westbay) Dick and Billy Ray Hosier, Sr.
Billy was a free spirit that loved hiking, 4-wheeling, camping, fires, and guitar playing. He spent a couple of years hitchhiking and train hopping up and down the West Coast before returning to Ohio. He made many friends during his great adventure. During his Celebration of Life, his family loved hearing from his many friends how he helped them, took care of them, and was always there for those that needed him.
He is survived by his mother, Janeen Dick of Conneaut; father, Billy Ray Hosier, Sr. of North Carolina; brothers, Joshua Tantari of North Kingsville and Jeremiah Hosier of North Carolina; grandparents, Dorothea Westbay of North Kingsville and Edwin and Olesa Hosier of North Carolina.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Willis Wayne Westbay on December 4, 2020.
A private Celebration of Life service was held.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the first responders and others on the scene of the accident that tried to help.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva assisted the family with arrangements.
