Bonnie Sue Straight (nee Smith), 65, of Andover, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.

Bonnie was born on May 19, 1960, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Elva Smith and Don Fritz. She later made her home in Andover, Ohio, where she built a life centered around family, faith, and the simple joys she loved most.

Bonnie had a creative and caring spirit. She enjoyed crafting and gardening and found great fulfillment in volunteering. She previously served as a council member at Holiday Camplands, where she was known for her dedication and willingness to help others. A faithful Catholic, Bonnie's faith was an important part of her life.

Above all, Bonnie loved her family deeply. Her children were her greatest pride and joy, and they meant everything to her.

She is survived by her children, David L. Straight Jr. and Lori E. Straight.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bonnie was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Her children will miss her most of all, as she was their constant source of love and support.
