Brandon M. Nelson, age 24, amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend. Passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Brandon was born on April 18, 1999, in Willoughby, Ohio, to parents John Nelson and Teresa Piercy (Frazier). Growing up, Brandon enjoyed spending time with his older brothers, Steven and Matthew. He spent a lot of his time playing video games with Matthew, cuddling his dog Sasha and his cat Jet. Brandon also loved watching all types of anime.
Anyone who knows Brandon would agree, he would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar to anyone who needed it, even if he needed it more. He had a passion for music, animals and making people smile. He loved spoiling his nephews Steven and Oliver. Brandon loved his family more than anything.
Brandon is survived by his father, John Nelson; mother, Teresa (Dedrick) Frazier; brother, Matthew (Brittany) Kazsmer. He is preceded in death by his brother, Steven R. Kazsmer; aunt Mary Dancs-Zimmerman; grandfather, Ronald Nelson; grandmother, Beverly Ede; great-grandmother, Betty Nelson; and great-grandmother Ida Reynolds.
Calling hours will be held at First Baptist Church, 4353 Park Ave, Ashtabula Ohio 44004 on Saturday, August 12,2023 from 12:00pm-1:00pm with a service to follow.
