Brett McNeil Haydu, 27, of Geneva, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 7, 2023 in Geneva.

He was born September 1st, 1995 in Painesville, Ohio to Mary Foster and Daniel Haydu and graduated from Geneva High School. He worked at Olive Garden and loved his OG family. Brett enjoyed singing and creative writing, inventing board games, DnD with his friends, and helping others. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He never allowed his disability to stop him, always trying to beat and overcome the odds stacked again him.

Brett is survived by his fur baby, Eliza "Ellie Bellie" Haydu; mother Mary (Dan) Foster; father, Daniel (Rachael) Haydu; siblings, David Russell, Tasha Everson (Albert), Brandon Russell, Amber Knotts (Collin), Shana Foster, Darren Haydu, Danny Foster Jr. (Mariah), Katie Foster, Benjamin Hasinski, Danny Haydu, Joshua Hasinski, Abigail Hasinski, Emmanuel Hasinski, Liam Haydu, and Violet Haydu; grandparents, Clayton and Susan Russell, and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Michael and Kathleen Haydu and Uncle William Haydu.

Special thanks to some of his closest friends. Suzi Newland, he truly loved you. His best friends, Zach Rohrbaugh, Aaron Hanna and Stephen Robertson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio.
