Brian Wilson Gibson, age 56, of Madison, passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Brian was born October 14th, 1965, to parents Jack Gibson and the late Billie (Cromer) Gibson in Chardon, OH. Brian attended Chardon High School and Auburn Career Center where he graduated with a degree in the Auto Body Field. Brian provided professional classic car restoration and repair throughout most of his life, this was his passion. In 1989, Brian married his sweetheart Karen S. (Clyde) Gibson and the two spent a lifetime building their family and making memories. In his free-time, Brian could be found attending many local car shows with his father in their 1969 Camaro. He was a classic muscle car enthusiast and had a passion for model car building, he won several awards for his models. Brian also enjoyed science fiction shows and movies with Star Trek and Star Wars as his favorites. He enjoyed camping with his wife Karen at Ever Green Lake Park and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Brian is survived by his loving wife Karen, his father and stepmother; Jack (Barb) Gibson; his children; Bill (Erica) Fioritto, Billy (Emily) Gibson, Tony (Lewie) Fioritto, Brian (Lola) Gibson, and Joe (Chelsey) Fioritto. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; Atticus Fioritto, Phoenix Fioritto, Ollivander Fioritto, Collin Gibson, Ethan Gibson, Lola Gibson, Aiden Gibson, Madalynn Gibson, and Lily Fioritto, and by his loving brother and brother-in-law; Jim (Kim) Gibson, and Tom Barstow. Brian is preceded in death by his mother; Billie Gibson, his grandparents; Wilson and Eva Gibson, and Dorothy Cromer, and his loving sister; Jeanine Barstow.
