Carol Anne (Jennings) Jarvis, 89, of Madison, Ohio passed away from natural causes on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Sarasota, Florida.
She was born November 10, 1934, in Painesville, Ohio to the late David J. and Martha (Washington) Jennings. On December 11, 1954, she married Kenneth R. Jarvis, Sr. at the Church of Christ in Painesville, Ohio and together they shared 67 years of love and memories before his passing on November 2, 2021. Carol was a homemaker and raised 5 children in their Madison home. She loved gardening, cooking, canning, baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Myla M. (Jerry) Ferguson, Kenneth R. (Lorraine) Jarvis, Denise M. DeMarcki, Bonnie L. (Terry) Moreland, and Elizabeth A. (Shaun) Sill; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Lucas.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Jarvis, Sr.; parents, David J. and Martha (Washington) Jennings; siblings, Margaret Hamon and David L. Jennings, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 4, 2024, from 11am-1pm at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. A burial will take place after the service at North Madison Cemetery. The family will be having a gathering immediately following the burial at the American Legion, 6671 Middle Ridge Road, Madison, Ohio, all friends and family are welcome to join.
