Catherine Jo Robertson, 76, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at her home in Geneva. She was born March 14, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio. Catherine married Vernon R. Robertson Jr. in Cumberland, Maryland in 1967 and graduated from High School in 1968. She spent many years as a wife and a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzles and playing cards in her free time. Catherine is survived by her children, Vernon (Deb) Robertson III, and Kelly (Barry) Benedict; grandchildren, Charity Boswell, Ashley Minnick, Michael Minnick, Stephanie (Travis) Campbell, and Barry Benedict Jr.; siblings, Greg (Barb) Koren, Carol (Ruben) Cantu, Darla Koren (sister-in-law), Gale (Buzz) Furman, Janice (Brian) Winters, Danette (Ken) Kregar, and Eric Locke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Robertson Jr.; parents, Velma and Dale Locke, Julius Koren, and Vernon and Reba Robertson; brothers, Gus, and Dale (passed at birth). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at VFW Post #6846 in Geneva, Ohio. She will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Hospice of The Western Reserve.
