Charlene "Char" Mary March Woodburn (Berrier), age 85, formerly of Ashtabula, died Wednesday evening, December 25th, 2024, in Cypress, Texas. She was born January 20, 1939, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Melvin Clarence (Curly) and Evelyn (Shorts) Berrier. Charlene was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson Area High School. On December 5, 1959, Charlene Berrier, was married to the late James March, at the Jefferson United Methodist Church. They were married for 19 years. On July 17, 1987, Charlene(Berrier) March, was married to the late Clair W. Woodburn. They spent 35 years together. Char worked in the insurance and healthcare industry specializing in workers' compensation for many years. She was a proud member of East Side Presbyterian Church. Char loved spending time with family and friends hosting holiday and birthday celebrations. Her interests included cooking, puzzles, knitting, and watching Ohio sports teams.

Char is survived by her loving children, Jackie Ervin of Las Vegas, NV, John (Pam) March of Cypress, TX, Jerry (Virginia) March of Jacksonville, NC, and stepchildren Beth (Anthony) Costa, Rusty (Liz) Woodburn, and John (Sheila) Woodburn. Char was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Ron Berrier, and sister-in-law, Beverly Berrier. Char is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Berrier, her first husband James R. March, her second husband Clair W. Woodburn, her twin brother, Charles Berrier (in infancy) and siblings Gerald Berrier and Darla Carroll.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from 10am-11am at the United Methodist Church in Jefferson, 125 E. Jefferson Street, Jefferson, OH., a Funeral Service will begin at 11am, with the burial immediately following at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson, where she will be laid to rest next to James March. A luncheon will take place immediately following the burial back at the church.
