Charles Norman "Bud, Chuckie" Putt, 55, passed away on July 9, 2026, at University Hospitals Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on February 18, 1971, in Geneva, Ohio, to Carl Putt and Ruth (Smith) Putt.
Bud was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Geneva High School. He was known for his love of old cars, wrestling memorabilia, collecting autographs from famous people, fishing, camping, bowling, and visiting historical places. His enthusiasm for these interests and his friendly nature made him memorable to all who knew him.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Tiffany Putt; his mother, Ruth (Smith) Putt; his father, Carl Putt, Sr; his siblings, Tina Van Boxel, John Putt, and James Putt.
He was preceded in death by his son, Baby Boy Putt; his fiancée, Junie Bird; his brother, Carl Putt, Jr.; his sisters, Adela Poole (Putt) and Mystery Putt; and his grandparents, George Edward Putt, Pearl Putt, George Smith, and Agnes Smith.
Bud will be remembered for his passion for collecting, his appreciation of history, and the time he enjoyed spending outdoors with family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service or Celebration of Life at this time.
