Charles "Chuck" William Shrawder, 82, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, in Madison, OH, after and extended illness.
He was born on September 15, 1942, in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania. Chuck was a graduate of West Middlesex High School and attended Youngstown State University. Over the years, he built a career in management within the trucking industry, working across several states. Later in life, Chuck worked in the car industry before owning a car lot and eventually retiring to the South with Debbie, where he continued to stay active with various odd jobs. Most recently, he was back in Northeast Ohio and cold be found walking he and Debbie's dog, Kiwi, and enjoying the area around Lake Erie.
Chuck is survived by his longtime partner, Debbie Duncan and her daughter, Heidi Arnold (Craig) along with their daughter Allison, Debbie's sons, Brian Schubert (Kelli) and their son Joshua, and Richard Schubert. He is also survived by his children, Caryn Kilgore, Chad Shrawder (Alanna), and Dean Shrawder (Brooke). Chuck was a grandfather to six grandchildren, Adam Schuller, Caity Kilgore, Ty Shrawder, Chase Shrawder, and Brock Shrawder, and Morgan Specht. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Abe" Shrawder and Otenzia "Betty" Shrawder.
In his free time, Chuck enjoyed visiting local wineries, cheering on the Steelers and Pirates, and playing golf in his younger years. A private family service will be held at the family's discretion.
