Charles "Chuck" Murphy Sr., age 74, of Orwell, passed away January 12th, 2022. Born December 4th, 1947, in Wharncliffe, West Virginia. Son of Beulah (Keenan) Murphy and Virgil Murphy Sr. Chuck loved fishing, hunting, time with his family, and was an avid Browns fan. Survivors include his father; Virgil Murphy Sr., his children; Linda Forristal (Quan Robinson) of Eastlake, Michael Murphy (Shawna) of Chardon, Lisa Taylor-Murphy (Sundee) of Orwell, Chuck Murphy Jr. (Bruno) of New Jersey, and Vicki Murphy of Ashtabula. He is also survived by his brother; Clifford Murphy (Deborah), his grandchildren; Brooke Glenn (Corey) of Conneaut, Josh Forristal of Willowick, Jenna Forristal of Orwell, Megan Rood of Ashtabula, Timmy Purchase of Mentor, Delaney and Emma Murphy of Chardon, Issaac, Hailie, and Austin Purchase of Orwell, Kalvin Atempa of New Jersey, his beloved great-grandchildren; Hunter Doing, Bentley Murphy, Noah Glenn, Dawson Glenn, Domani Hall, Scarlette Glenn, Amora Moore, and Ryson Rose, and many loving nieces and nephews. Chuck is preceded in death by his mother; Beulah Murphy, his son; Timothy Murphy, his sisters; Regina Murphy, Judy Murphy, and Evelyn Murphy Vojacek, his brother; Virgil Murphy Jr., and his grandson; Zachery "Zac" Murphy. The family wishes to thank the wonderful Nurses on staff at the Cleveland Clinic that took such great care of Chuck in his last moments.
