Charles Calvin "Chuck" Zimmer, 82, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2026.

Chuck was born on March 8, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lawrence and Anna Zimmer. He married Barbara on August 8, 1964, and was married to her until her unexpected passing on June 11, 1973. Chuck then married Karen on October 24, 1996, until his passing. He spent his life devoted to his family, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. Chuck retired from Riser Foods after many years of dedicated service and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 507. A man of strong values and quiet loyalty, he was known for his work ethic and commitment to providing for those he loved. He was Catholic by faith.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Zimmer; parents, Lawrence and Anna Zimmer; and his son, Charles Zimmer.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen "Sue" Zimmer; his children, William Zimmer, Richard Zimmer, Robert Zimmer (Sharon), Danielle Mason, and Diana Osborne; and his grandchildren Daniel Osborne, Claire Osborne, and Deedra Osborne. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Addie Osborne, Callie Osborne, Jaxson Pasko, Sadie Gayheart, and Myles Gayheart.

Family was everything to Chuck. Known lovingly as "Papa," he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their compassionate care and support. A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at a later time.
