Christina Marie Kiner, 47, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
She was born June 14, 1976, in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Arnold and Debra Kiner and Linda (Swiger) Hatfield.
Christina has worked for the Ashtabula Metropolitan Housing Authority since 2012. In her spare time, she loved her pets, family, and baking with "Maryjane."
She is survived by her son, Chase (Jessica Thompson) Singelton; partner, Shawn Singleton; parents, Arnold and Debra Kiner and Linda (Swiger) Hatfield; sister, Sherry (John) Slepicka; step-sisters, Heather (Tony Barnes) Boles and Deidre (John) Wilt; nieces, Brittany Justice, Breanna Justice, and Kyla (Logan) McGee; Chase's nana, Yolanda Singleton; beloved pets, Rosco and Muffin; many aunts, uncles, and cousins in WV, IL, PA, TX, and FL; many friends and coworkers.
Christina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Aulton and Hazel Kiner; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Gladys Swiger; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews in WV, TX, and IL.
A funeral service will be held 12:30pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Lake Erie Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service in Brownville Cemetery in Rome Township. There will be memorial luncheon at 3:00pm at Gulfview Towers, 3703 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio.
In lieu of fresh flowers, the family suggest planters or potted plants.
