Christine Doris Cline Marciante

Christine Doris Cline Marciante, 77, of Euclid, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, following a courageous battle with kidney cancer. Born to Ray and Doris Cline on February 14, 1949, Christine was a lifelong resident of Euclid and a proud graduate of Euclid High School, Class of 1967.

She was the beloved mother of Michelle (Gregory) Derus, Michael (Debbie) Marciante, and Annmarie (Richard) Bernstein. She was a cherished grandmother to Mikali (Kelly) Moyer, Kara (Dallas) Smith, Jacob Derus, and Gillian (Michael) Derus, and a loving bonus grandmother to Arielle, Deirdra, and Anthony. She was a proud great-grandmother to Niko, Clementine, Jude, Leo, and Collin.

Christine was also a loving sister to Doreen (Mike) Friel and Arthur “Artie” Cline, and a wonderful aunt and great-great-aunt to her extended family. Her family meant everything to her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will forever be treasure.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Doris; her grandmother, and her brother, Artie.

Christine had a personality and style all her own. She was known for her love of polka dancing, a passion that brought her happiness and many wonderful memories. She also loved decorating for every holiday, filling her home with festive touches and making each season feel special. Christine was known for always looking her best. She had a "sharp" appearance that reflected her unique sense of style, with her signature short black hair and fuchsia lipstick.

Christine’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, but especially in the hearts of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren she adored so deeply. Though her family will miss her beyond words, the love she poured into them will remain a part of their lives forever. Her charm, quick wit and distinctive laugh will be remembered by those who love her for years to come.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Reserve Care Hospice in honor of Christine. The family extends its deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the entire hospice team, and to Debbie Vrabel for the tremendous care, compassion, and kindness she provided to Christine during her final days.
