Christine "Chris" Anne Romer, age 74, of Roaming Shores, OH., passed away peacefully in her sleep (surrounded by her loved ones) on Sunday, May 21, 2023 after many years with Parkinson's Disease. Chris was born on July 21st, 1948, to parents Joseph DeBaltzo and Mary (Yok) DeBaltzo, at Huron Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Chris was Baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on Oct. 27th, 2018, she was so very proud of her faith. Chris has spent many years dedicated to her Jefferson, OH. Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She graduated from Midpark High School and worked as a secretary for many years at HHS in Toledo, OH. On February 14th, 1983, Chris married her love, Darrell A. Romer, in Toledo, OH. Chris was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, sister, publisher, and One of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved to go for walks, read, and be surrounded by her family. Chris is survived by her loving husband Darrell, her children; Nicolette Folliett and Wayne Folliett Jr., her grandchildren; Emily Folliett, Zac Rouse, W.Mason Folliett, Dominic Folliett, and Nicholas Folliett, and her siblings; Connie France and Cynthia Green. Chris is preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Mary DeBaltzo and her brother; Christopher DeBaltzo. A Funeral Service will be planned in the future with the help of her Jefferson, OH., Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and Chris will eventually be laid to rest at Roaming Shores Cemetery.
