Obituary

Christopher John Craft (Chris), 58, of Geneva, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at UH Cleveland Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Chris was born March 6, 1967, in Euclid, Ohio to Guy and Kathleen (Krince) Craft. He honorably served in the U.S. Army and a few years later, on January 16, 1990, Chris married Renee Campbell and they spent 35 wonderful years together creating memories and raising their family.
Chris was currently serving as the Fire Chief of the Geneva-on-the-Lake Volunteer Fire Department and worked with Northwest Ambulance District. He was a Christian man who lived to better everyone and help everyone and gave of himself to others without recognition or expectations. Each and every person he encountered, he would plant seeds of goodness, hope, self-worth – anything positive. He didn't just plant the seeds, he nurtured them and helped them grow. His grandchildren were his ALL, they were the only ones that got to give to him what no one else could. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Renee (Campbell) Craft; children, Raeanne (Luke) Laurenty and Christopher (Taylor Dean-Day) Craft; grandchildren, Sawyer James and Jackson Micheal Laurenty, Lennon Mae, Booker Cain and Stevie Drew Craft; mother, Kathleen Craft; siblings, "his mom's daughters: Michelle and Amy," Michelle (Ray) Biondi and Amy (Erick) Miller; niece, Ella Biondi; nephews, Nicholad and Nathaniel Miller.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Guy Craft; paternal grandparents, Reynold and Dorothy Craft; maternal grandparents, Frank and Eleanor Krince; niece, Sofia Biondi.
