Craig Robert Sidwell, 71, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away while in the hospital in Cleveland, on Friday, April 12, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1952, in Amherst, OH, to parents Willie and Fronia Sidwell and was a graduate of Black River High School. Craig was a proud US Navy Veteran and served on the USS John R. Craig from 1970 to 1972 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and was a Bronze Star recipient. He loved to fish and loved to go on early morning drives. Craig is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline, Amanda, and Chelsea; son, Tyrell; nephew, Lee Sidwell; grandchildren, Sebastian, Logan, Tabitha, Amaya, Rylee, Skylar, McKenzie, and Peighton; and sister, Mary (Mike) Straka of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Fronia Sidwell; and brothers, Arnold, Mike, and Jack. A celebration of his life and reception will be held at a later date.
