Dakoda Levander Fenner (Kodie), 29, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away at his family home in Ashtabula on Friday, January 27, 2023. A memorial service will be held at New Life Assembly of God in Geneva, Ohio, on Friday, February 3, 2023. Calling hours will be from 3-5pm with a service at 5pm.
Dakoda was born June 9, 1993, to Holly Fenner and Marvin Payne. He was adopted during his childhood years by Jeff and Erin Fenner. He lived most of his life in Ashtabula with a few years also spent in Columbus, Ohio.
Dakoda is survived by his children Damarion Fenner and Dezarae Fenner; parents Jeff and Erin Fenner, biological mother Holly Fenner, and biological father Marvin Payne; grandparents Alan and Yvonne Dieffenbacher, grandmother Treather Payne, grandfather Samual Richerson, grandmother Janet Fenner, and grandparents John and Melody McCreight; siblings Divontay (Katelynn) Fenner, Shawn Sickinger, Peter Ginnis, Randy Ginnis, Dareese Henderson, Markye Payne, Alison Payne, Cierra Shivers, Jacob Fenner, and Bethany Fenner; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Memorial donations can be made to Club Agape in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio, assisted the family with arrangements.
