Dana Marie Rickard, 44, of Geneva, Ohio passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
She was born January 8, 1980, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph Neil Rickard and Debra Lawyer (Castle). After graduating from Lorain County Community College with an associate degree, Dana worked as an R.N. for behavioral health for 9 years. In her spare time, she loved to workout daily, singing, dancing, crocheting, swimming, going on long walks, and absolutely loved Summertime and margaritas.
Dana is survived by her children, Savanna Rickard and Breanna Rickard; grandchildren, Christian Cecil Jr., LeeAnna Cecil-Luck, Elizabeth Cecil-Luck, and Scarlett Cecil; mother, Debra (David, deceased) Lawyer; father, Joseph (Donna) Rickard; siblings, Amanda Rickard, Melissa Rickard, Michael Charnow; step-siblings, Lisa Wade, Richard Csorba. Charles Csorba, Tracy Lawyer, Kelly Lawyer, Erica Lee, and Tiffany Lawyer; fiancé, Thomas Diamond.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, David Lawyer; step-brother, John Vance; maternal grandparents, Sybil and William Castle; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Gladys Rickard.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 4pm to 5:30pm with A Celebration of Life service to follow at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio. A family gathering will be held following the service at the home of Debra Lawyer (Dana's mom).
