It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Robert DeCrosta, who left this world on November 8, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on February 24, 1974, in Euclid, Ohio, Danny was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of many.

Danny was the cherished son of Douglas DeCrosta and Kathleen DeCrosta (Norsic). He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas, and is survived by his loving mother, Kathleen; his son, Austin Reinking; his sister, Darla Marvin; his brother, Douglas DeCrosta; and his adored nephews, Ryan Marvin and Dylan Marvin. The family takes solace in the memories shared and the love that will forever remain in their hearts.

Attended Willoughby Tech and graduated from Willoughby South High School where he learned many of his handy skills. Danny went on to embrace a life filled with passion and creativity. He was a true jack of all trades, known for his ability to build and sell BMX bicycles, and his knack for tinkering on cars. Danny thrived on the thrill of the work he loved, and he often immersed himself in his hobbies, which included attending concerts where he could revel in the music that brought him joy. His favorite bands included Grateful Dead, Iron Maiden, and Led Zeppelin, but he appreciated all music, especially reggae, which matched his vibrant and carefree spirit.

Danny was known for his excitement for life and his exceptional ability to live in the moment. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, embodying kindness and generosity in everything he did. His warm hugs, infectious smile, and hilarious banter were the hallmarks of his character, and those lucky enough to know him will miss him dearly. For many years, Danny lived in Clearwater, Florida, seeking to escape the cold Ohio winters. There, he was not only a dedicated worker but also a beloved friend, earning the admiration of his co-workers and friends alike.
