Daniel William Paxton, 88, of Madison, Ohio passed away at his family home on Monday, August 5, 2024.
He was born February 22, 1936, in Wamego, Kansas to the late Leo and Ruth Paxton and graduated from Wamego High School. On July 30, 1955, he married Patricia Ann Brant and together they shared 69 years of love and memories. Daniel honorably served in the Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force from 1955-1959. He then went on to own and operate a very successful used car dealership for 24 years.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia Ann (Brant) Paxton; sons, Sky (Beverly) Paxton, and Tod (Tess) Paxton; grandchildren, Penny, Jesse, Tyler, Sam, Sara, Nicole, Keegan, Morgan, Yesenia, Megan, James, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Ava, Araya, Taliyah, Keana, and Nora.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ruth Paxton; sister, Carol Jo (Paxton) Bair.
There will be no service. Contributions can be made in his memory to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff of Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their kindness and care given to Daniel and his family.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
