Darryl V. Brown, 61, of Euclid, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Cleveland, OH.
Darryl was born on December 6, 1963, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Ellis Lynn Brown and Alonzo Jones Jr., and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland, OH.
Darryl met the love of his life, Michelle, on her birthday in 2002, from that day forward, they were inseparable. Married for 21 years, Darryl lovingly called her "Booder," a nickname that held a world of affection more than husband and wife. Darryl and Michelle were truly best friends, sharing a deep and unshakable connection that inspired everyone around them. Darryl also shared a special bond with his grandson, Marc, who lovingly called him "Papa". Their connection was deep and filled with joy, laughter, and countless shared moments. Being "Papa" was also one of his greatest joys in life, and the love they shared will always be remembered. He loved the Lord and became a member of The Word Church in Warrensvile Hts, OH, In 2004.
He was always smiling and had a beautiful, loving heart, he would help anybody in need, always concerned about others' well-being. He touched so many lives with his knowledge, wisdom and his sense of humor. He was a hard worker, much-respected employee and loved by many of the staff and co-workers at Pursuit Aerospace in Euclid, OH, for many years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellis Lynn Brown. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Brown; stepson, Marcelius Edgerson (Sheena Edgerson), step-grandson, Marc Edgerson, his father, Alonzo Jones Jr., his Brother Warren DeVaughn Tunstall (Felisha), his Sister Lynndriette Marcine (Tunstall) Rome, and a host of nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the many supportive and kindnesses extended to them during this time of bereavement. A special thanks to the staff and employees at Pursuit Aerospace for the great support and kindness that they gave to us from the very beginning of this tragic journey and their constant continued support. Also thank you to the staff of All-Sweeps for their caring words and support.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 11am-2pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 29801 Lakeland Blvd., Wickliffe, OH 44092.
