David Lee Hummel, 67, of Hartsgrove, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 18,
2022 at his place of choice: the Hummel Hovel.
Born in Huntsburg, Ohio on June 16, 1954, he was the son of Betty and Robert
Hummel. David attended Cardinal High School and then joined the US Navy.
David was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, loved riding his motorcycle, and loved
natured and bird watching. In his spare time, he enjoyed carving and sanding
walking sticks.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Barbara Bryson-Hummel; children, Adrienne
(Champine) Miller and her husband Scott Miller, Jr. and Charris Jeanne Hummel
Champine; grandchildren, Aiden Lee Houser and Lilith Cherry Houser; siblings,
Daniel, Bobby, and Ricky.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Robert Hummel; siblings,
Jimmy and Albert.
