David William Becker Jr., 31, passed away on August 18, 2025, in North Olmsted, Ohio. Born on October 12, 1993, in Fort Hood, Texas, David brought light and warmth into the lives of those who knew.
David was a genuine soul whose compassion and creativity touched many. He had a deep love for nature and found peace in hiking and camping. Whether exploring new trails or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the outdoors, he felt most at home surrounded by the natural world. His passion for music was equally profound—he not only played but also wrote music that reflected his thoughtful spirit and emotional depth.
A lover of science fiction and gaming, David embraced imagination and curiosity in all aspects of life. He valued meaningful friendships and was known for his generosity and concern for others, especially those facing hardship. His kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
David leaves behind his soulmate and girlfriend, Bonnie, with whom he shared a deep and abiding love. Their bond was one of true connection and mutual devotion.
He is also survived by his father, David Beck Sr.; step-parents, Bruce and Mary Johnson; step-brother, Chris; and step-sister, Jessica. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Becker; and grandmother, Linda Mennecke.
David's memory will live on through the music he created, the trails he walked, and the hearts he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
