David J. Seiler, Jr.

David J. “Dave” Seiler, Jr., age 61, of Montville, Ohio passed away on July 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on June 7, 1965, in Madison, Ohio to the late David J. Seiler, Sr. and Jean (Collins) Seiler and graduated from Cardinal High School in Middlefield, Ohio in 1984.

Dave worked for GCE, Able Fence, Cuyahoga Fence and was the manager of LJ Stables in Garrettsville, Ohio. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, going for drives in his 1984 Monte Carlo, and spending time with his three grandchildren. Dave was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, and every Sunday was football day. “Boy he loved his Cleveland Browns!”

He is survived by his wife, Mona Seiler (nee Bosse); son, Bradley (Dallas) Seiler; sister, Danette Ludlow; grandchildren, Layla, Brantley and Gracie; niece, Cheyanne (Jake) Oliver; nephews, Joshua (Justine) Ludlow, Matthew (Chloe) Ludlow, Adam Ludlow and Garrett Bosse. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, David J. Seiler, Sr. and Jean (Collins) Seiler; son, Brenan Seiler.

As per Dave’s wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Montville Community Center, 9755 Madison Road, Montville, Ohio on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 4-7pm with a time for words of remembrance and sharing of memories at 5pm.

Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
