David Garfield Thomas, 68, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Carington Park in Ashtabula, the place he loved to call home. He was born on November 29, 1956, in Greenville, South Carolina, to parents Jean Carol and Chilton Thomas. In his free time, David enjoyed reading, photography, hiking, fishing and crafting. He was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Army from 1975-1992. David is survived by his children, James David Thomas, and Lindsey Jean Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Carol Cooper Thomas and Chilton G. Thomas. At this time, no services have been scheduled.
