Dean A. Barnes, Jr. age 37, of Harrisburg, PA passed away March 7, 2022 in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born May 5, 1984 in Euclid, OH to Dean A. Barnes and Pamela (Semlow) Barnes and graduated from Geneva High School in 2002 and Transylvania University in 2006. In high school he was in involved with the drama club and Geneva Image. While in college, he participated in Karate, fencing, and served as RA in his last year. After college, he was part of a men's choir in Washington, D.C and in his spare time, he enjoyed rock climbing and working out.
Dean is survived by his mother, Pamela Barnes; his father, Dean A. (Jean) Barnes; his siblings, Jeremy (Kristen) Calhoun, Michael Barnes (Kelsey Cleary), Ricky Smith (Mollie Kikel), Nicole (Owen) Ambrose, and Jennifer (Pat) Andrews; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Lorraine Semlow.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Janis Barnes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Country Baptist Church, 9054 Lake Shore Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
