Deborah "Debbie" Ann Kuncytes, age 69, of Willowick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. Born on December 8, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio, Debbie was the eldest daughter of Frank and Eleanor Kuncytes.
Debbie was a selfless, patient and kind person who touched the lives of everyone she met. All who knew her were lucky to have experienced her warmth and generosity, as she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel like family. She loved to travel and especially loved the beach. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her loved ones. Her deep love for her dogs reflected her gentle and kind spirit. Debbie's unwavering kindness and vibrant presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she held dear.
Debbie is survived by her sister, Darlene Kuncytes; sister-in-law, Sue Kuncytes; nephews, Christopher (Erin) Kuncytes, and Nicholas (Angie) Kuncytes; great-niece, Audrey; great-nephews, Samuel, Benjamin, Hayden, and Camden; friends that became family, Bob Kirsch and Patty Rotert; as well as many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dennis Kuncytes.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff in the ICU at UH Lake West Medical Center for their compassionate care and support during Debbie's final days. Your kindness and dedication brought comfort to Debbie and her loved ones during a difficult time, and your efforts will always be remembered with gratitude.
A celebration of Debbie's life will be held in the fall, as mums were the flowers she loved most. Details about the service will be shared at a later date.
