Deborah "Debbie" Thompson

Deborah “Debbie” Thompson, 66, of Eastlake, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on September 17, 2026.

Debbie was born on October 19, 1959, to James and Beverly Hanson. She was a loving mother who cherished the time she spent with her family. Debbie is survived by her children, Eric Thompson (Jenifer Thompson), Travis Thompson, Kyle Thompson, and her three grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Beverly Hanson; brothers, Dan Hanson and Wayne Hanson. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, James Hanson.

Debbie dedicated more than a decade of her career to Progressive Insurance, where she worked as a Multi-Product Specialist. Her commitment to her work and the people around her were an important part of her life.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoyed spending time at home and outdoors. She especially loved tending to her yard, baking, listening to music, and caring for her special fur babies. She found joy in helping others and in the simple moments spent with the people and things she loved.

A private service will be held by the family.
