Dena Marie English

Dena Marie English, 58, of Conneaut, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was born on October 26, 1967, to the late Michael and Iva (Pier) Capela and was raised in Conneaut, Ohio.

Dena was a caregiver and a housekeeper with several years of dedicated service to Bortnick Tractor Sales. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Dena went out of her way to help and care for others, even if they were a stranger. She was compassionate and generous and should be remembered for her kind heart and demeanor.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Sarah) Capela, Michael (Stephanie) English, Cody English and Austin (Anna) English; grandchildren, Roland Capela and Alanah English.

Dena was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Iva (Pier) Capela; grandchild, Jace Capela; grandparents, Rolland “Bob” and Eleanor Capela.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 4-6pm at the Conneaut Moose Lodge 472, 280 Park Avenue, Conneaut, Ohio 44030.
