Obituary

Dennis Wayne Karmansky, age 67, passed away suddenly of natural causes at his long-time residence in Geneva, Ohio, on November 8, 2024, at the age of 67. A graduate of Geneva High School, Dennis spent over four decades as a driver for R.W. Sidley, where he built strong relationships within the concrete industry. Dennis had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing, earning a reputation as a local expert in catching muskellunge and walleye on the Grand River. One of his favorite pastimes was vacationing in Combermere, Ontario, where he enjoyed riding the scenic local roads and fishing on the Madawaska River. A dedicated motorcycle enthusiast, Dennis loved collecting, admiring, and riding his motorcycles, especially his cherished BMW and Triumph models. He was known for his spontaneous long rides, often traveling 100 miles just for a cup of coffee or an ice cream cone. In recent times, his greatest joy came from hearing updates about his grandchildren and spending time with them. Dennis is survived by his sons, Ray (Heather) Karmansky and Dennis Jr. (Kaylee Perala) Karmansky, and his grandchildren, Dennis James and Jacob Wayne Karmansky, as well as his sister, Deborah Bentley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents, Helen and Dennis L. Karmansky. In accordance with his wishes, no formal funeral service is planned. Dennis will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, his love of adventure, and his loyalty as a friend. Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services assisted the family with arrangements. www.LakeErieCrematory.com
