Donald Evens' Obituary
Donald Evens, age 76, of Rock Creek, Ohio, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
He was born on November 8, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Frank and Ruth (Schotsch) Evens.
On April 12, 1969, he married Anne Fennell, and together they shared 53 years of love and memories.
Donald retired from K&G Machine after 35 years of service. During retirement, he designed and built his own home. He also enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Evens; daughter, Tracy Slusher; brother, Ron (Diane) Evens; grandchildren, Tiana (Dakota) Brown and Tate Evens; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Zayla Brown, and Blake Majors.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruth (Schotsch) Evens; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Susan) Evens; son, Corey Evens; son-in-law, Kevin Slusher; granddaughter, Tabitha Evens.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio, assisted the family with arrangements.
