Donald James Ezzone, 82, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio passed away at his home on Lake Erie on Saturday, April 20th, 2024. He was born March 26, 1942, in Ashtabula, Ohio to parents James Vincent Ezzone and Ruth Esther Ezzone. Don earned a Bachelor of Science at Kent State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He was a school teacher before finding his true passion for the law. For over 40 years, he worked as an attorney, serving Lake County in roles such as law director, prosecutor, and legal counsel to Laketran, he also held a private practice. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, bike riding, watching the Cleveland Browns, taking drives in his convertible, spending time with family and friends, and was a Catholic by faith. Don is survived by his wife, Florence; children, Marcus, and Gina; sister, Donnalee Rood and her husband Gary Rood. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don's name to the American Cancer Society.
