Donald J. Runo, age 87, of Leroy, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2022.
Don was a lifelong resident of Northeast, Ohio. He worked a Bailey Meter as a computer test engineer for 39 years and was a serviceman in the Army National Guard.
He thoroughly enjoyed boating and horseback riding. He was a faithful member of Leroy Community Chapel. Don was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Don leaves behind his wife, Karrell (Keeney) Runo; five daughters, Kim (Daniel) Robinson, Kristina Johns, Jenny (Ken) Gallion, Kristen (Casey) Butsko, and Kendall (Rick) Roudebush; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Marcia (John) Volke, and Jackie Wolfe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Leroy Community Chapel on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Project Hope for the Homeless, 25 Freedom Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
